A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER
Take Control of Your Story
It was 2020, a time when we didn't know when we'd be able to say 'post-pandemic.' And if the stories of the world around weren't enough, my personal and professional lives too were in a period of transition. I felt deeply overwhelmed and anxious, and my usual coping mechanism of overthinking coupled with a touch of avoidance just wasn't working anymore.
It is then that someone suggested that I begin writing my thoughts in a journal every morning. And as I scribbled pages of thoughts each morning, I realised the power of writing. I felt my thoughts, the 'what-if's and the 'maybe's lose control over me. They didn't buzz in my head all day any more. I gently laid them to rest on a piece of paper and then, went about life.
What had to happen did happen. A lot happened in those few years and the simple act of journaling helped me live it, the good, the bad and the terrible in reality, not in my mind.
